I have no clue who created or invented the Stretch Tube Scud but what I do know is that this pattern rocks. Landing trout and panfish just about everywhere. I like to use it on the White River in Arkansas. Imitating Scud, Sowing, Caddis and Midge Larva. Excellent choice for Tailwaters. Works great by itself under an indicator or as the second dropper on a double dropper setup. My favorite way is using it as a dropper under a dry fly. 5 x to 7x tapered leader and tippet are excellent choices.
