The stimulator was created by Jim Slattery. Imitating stoneflies, yellow sallies, small brown stoneflies, olive Sallies and Caddis flies. It's an excellent attractor pattern and searcher pattern imitating a lot of trout's favorite things to eat. My favorite ways to use the stimulator is dry dropper with Hoots River Juan as a dropper. Another way it's just by itself. Depending on size 4X through 6x tapered leader and tippet are great choices.
