The Roo's killer bug is tied on a competition jig hook with a Tungsten bead. And with a little flash that trout cannot resist. This is a variation of the Utah killer bug that I designed.  My favorite way to fish it is a course double dropper set up underneath an indicator as the dropper. But you can also fish it by itself with or without having an indicator. 5X to 7x are great choices for tippett and tapered leader.
