The Rattlin Roo is an excellent streamer imitating Shad, Creek Chub, basically fish that big fish eat. The Rattlin Roo has some loud rattles in it to attract the meanest Smallmouth, Largemouth Bass, Pike, Muskie and many more predatory fish. To fish this you will need sinking tip line and about 3 ft to 5 ft of 10 to 20 lb test. From your sinking go ahead tie on the 3ft to 5 ft of 10 to 20 lb test then from there tie on Rattlin Roo. Retrieve it just like any other streamer. But remember there is a rattle. More movement more jerking around, more making it look like it's injured, the more attractive it becomes.
