Hoots Custom Beaded Scud (Nymph) is a variation of the beaded scud. Using UV glue to make it heavier and more durable. Imitating a scud and sow bug depending on color and size. This fly is great with tailwaters especially the White River. Has also landed nice size Bows and Browns in Tennessee and Georgia. My favorite way is a double dropper setup underneath a strike indicator or by itself. 5 x to 6X tippet and tapers leaders are good choices.
