I have found a synthetic peacock that is super reflective and has not let me down. Hoot's Beetle imitates just your normal average beetle. Spring summer and fall are great times to use the beetle. After it rains is when I found awesome success with it. Hoot's Beetle being made out of foam makes an excellent choice for the dry on a dry dropper setup with hoots Zebra Midge and many more. Also works great by itself. 5x all the way down to 7X tippit (depending on water clarity and how bright the Sun is) with Hoot's Dry Furled Leader.
