The Beadhead Hord is my variation of the crackle back made into a nymph. With lead wire wrap, a bead and with a new synthetic material that imitates peacock herl perfectly, it is durable and will get down quick. This nymph/attractor can imitate a wide range of nymphs depending on size and color. Excellent fly for trout and panfish. Works great at Bennett Springs by itself with or without an indicator. My favorite way to use it is as a attractor or as a dropper on a double dropper setup. Depending on size of fish 5x to 6x tapered leader and tippet is an excellent choice.
