Adams parachute designed by Leonard holiday at the request of Charles Adams in 1922, in Michigan. Imitating mayflies, Caddis and small flies emerging. Trout love emerging insects. Landing trout and panfish all year round, works best when there is a hatch and just about anywhere there are insects. A must-have in the fly box very deadly emerger pattern. Depending on size (take the size of the hook ÷ 3 to figure out tippet and tapered leader) 6X tapered leader and tippet work great. When it is sunny I like to use 6X tapered leader with 12 to 8 in of tippet.
